Equality Legislation


Routes for Change is committed to upholding The Equality Act 2010. This provides protection for individuals with certain protected characteristics against prohibited conduct, such as direct and indirect discrimination, harassment, and victimisation; and a duty to make adjustments for disabled people in certain circumstances. The relevant protected characteristics are: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex and sexual orientation.
